Six Ways on How I Can Become a Writer
1. Time Consuming
Whenever my children are supervised by someone else or while their sleeping, I find myself working on my projects. At times I wake up out of my sleep just to dedicate a couple of minutes of my time for writing.
2. Places
Many times going over a friend house helps me get my work done. In fact, the children goes with me sometimes because I multi task being a wife, mother and student. Surprisingly, cheap motels and hotels becomes one of my options.
3. Music
I love listening to music throughout working and it can be anything from hip hop and R&B to country music. However, music is one of my resources I use while working on projects.
4. Cocktails
When being under the influence of alcohol, my personality changes. Depending on how I feel creativity falls into play.
5. Naps
Taking naps can be relaxing. However a quick nap helps me go over thoughts in my head and get a better understanding with ideas. On the other hand, naps can backfire and I can over sleep and run out of time on getting work finish. Doing homework and or studying may sometimes be overwhelming if a break through wouldn’t kick in immediately.
6. Under Pressure
As much as I hate to admit it pressure are another one of my resources also. For example, this paper was just typed the day before the deadline. Although I wrote it down on line paper already a week before it took me to go under pressure to type my paper up.
